Journey Log is an application that automatically tracks and records your journeys. By signing in with your Google ID and activating the journey recording feature, the app efficiently records all trips in the background. It creates a comprehensive driver journal for each journey, making data accessible within the app interface upon completion.

Detailed Recording and Mapping: Journey recording triggers automatically when the vehicle is shifted into drive mode and concludes when parked. Users are prompted to check notifications via the app to stay informed about their journey status. Each recorded trip includes essential details like distance driven, energy consumption, odometer readings, timestamps, and addresses for both the start and end positions. The app also features a visually detailed map illustrating the route taken, with waypoints for easy navigation and review.

Advanced Filtering and Export Options: Users can effortlessly access their past journeys, filtering by date or specific categories such as business, private, or commute. This aids in organizing and retrieving journeys up to 12 months old, including those under 1 km (or 1 mile) in length. The app offers robust export functionality enabling users to export filtered journeys in CSV or xls formats directly to their email.

Journey Management Features: Journey Log introduces unique features like consolidating up to 15 individual journeys into a single record, which can be separated back into individual trips as required. The app prioritizes user privacy by limiting access to journeys recorded on the same vehicle by various users. It is worth noting that each user must have a distinct Google ID for sign-in, utilized for recording trips and exporting the driver journal. Users have the flexibility to pause journey recording temporarily, delete all journey records, or even delete the journey log account.
